Rachel writes, "Our precious baby is a little spunky 7 1/2 month old West Highland White Terrier. He is such a mommy's boy, and goes everywhere with me. Although he is a white dog, he primarily is brown because of all the digging with his friend "Waldo". He has a little attitude, and will talk back sometimes, but he is the sweetest and most loving animal I could ever want. My boyfriend and I chose to get Mr. Lucky MacDucky back in the Spring when he was 7 wks. old. We wanted him because when we were kids we, too, had Westies. Last week he went swimming for the first time, and loved it. Mr. MacDucky loves to stay outside and play all the time. Because of this, I send him to the groomers every 2 wks., and he still is dirty! Martin and I love our little man, and treat him just like a child!
All of us at "The Gilded Paw" sure can see why your little "man" is so special to you both! He is just precious! We love the way he likes to play in the dirt! We just had to publish both photos of Mr. MacDucky! Thank you so much for all the wonderful photos! We can only wish ALL pets were so loved! Thanks, again, Rachel! "Lucky"
This is Lucky, an adorable 5 1/2 month old purebred long hair Chihuahua. He was born in Seattle, and arrived at his new home in Arizona on December 27, 2005. Lucky is a very laid back, but social Chihuahua, rarely barks, and loves giving kisses! He enjoys getting dressed up for the holidays, and can't wait for Cinco de Mayo so he can sport his new sombrero from "The Gilded Paw" all around town!!

"Nicki"
Dan writes, "Nicki (actually Nakita), was born in Fayence, a medievil walled city in the south of France. The couple who originally owner her purchased a male dog from a breeder they knew in the town, then went back the following year to purchase a female, Nicki. Shortly thereafter, they split up, and Nicki was put up for adoption. One of our best friends had worked with the couple, and made arrangements for us to become Nicki's new family.
It was truly fate that she should become our pet! Over the past 7 years, we have come to love her with all our hearts. Of course, we are prejudiced, but truly believe Nicki is the best dog in the whole world! She has a loving personality and child-like curiosity about everything and everyone around her.
The love she brings us is truly immeasureable!

"Kissa" is Kashka's playmate. Another beautiful name! "Kissa" is the Finnish word for "cat". Kissa has a really adorable little trick! She gives kisses to her owners on the lips for a treat!

"Chino" is a beautiful Siamese cat owned and loved by mom Heather. What gorgeous eyes! Chino enjoys lounging around and playing with small canine siblings Chipotle and Miss Lulu (below), both adorable chihuahuas! When Heather's trio gets going......everyone out of the way!! All three are beautiful pets, VERY pampered and loved!

Being style conscious pups, Chipotle loves to play with his new toy "Bark Jacobs shoe", while "Miss Lulu" prefers her "Chewy Vuiton toy handbag" both from "The Gilded Paw". When not busy with their toys, both precious chihuahuas love running around the house with feline sibling "Chino".

"Emme"
Sara writes, "Hi! Just discovered "The Gilded Paw", and I can’t wait to find luxurious fashions and must have accessories for my Emme Elizabeth – a.k.a. Doodlebug".
"Emme was rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri – the number 1 puppy mill state in the nation! If she hadn’t been rescued, this beautiful girl would have been subjected to horrific living conditions, abuse and neglect, and bred until she literally died or was killed."
"Instead, she came to me at 8 weeks old, and has grown up surrounded by much love, tender loving care, and affection. She loves playing outside, wearing her fancy clothes and going “bye-bye”. She adores Grandma, Papa and sister, Grace the Cat. She recently made her debut on the cover of a fundraising calendar for the Humane Society, and as lobbyists, we do all we can to communicate the need to eradicate puppy mills in Missouri and throughout the US."

Margaret writes, "Here is my 'little' (Ha! Ha!) Yorkie family! They shop only at 'The Gilded Paw'! We have big brother 'Danny', Daddy 'Seumas', Momma 'Molly', and their 10 offspring. We now have 13 pups, but the latest are just 1 week old! They are all too beautiful for anything but 'Gilded Paw' items!"

"Kashka"
"Kashka" is the Russian word for "kitten"! Very appropriate...and a beautiful name! Kashka's favorite activity is watching the birds outside at the bird feeder. Gee..we wonder what Kashka may be thinking bout those birds! Kashka and Kissa both have the same favorite toy.....each other! They love to chase each other around the house! Everyone...out of the way!

"Hi! My name is Chewie (when I was little I looked like that character off Star Wars) and I live inTexas. I am 6 months old (born January 21, 2007) and the apple of my family's eyes. I like to play outside and at the beach. My favorite toys are a snake (with a squeaky head and tail), frisbee and any body's shoes. I'm so cute so therefore I'm spoiled. Life is good in Texas with the beaches, frisbees and all these shoes."
