Please Read Carefully

  • The Gilded Paw is committed to pleasing you (or rather your four-footed baby!), and will honor a full refund or exchange, less shipping, provided your return is received in its original, new and unused condition, including all tags, warranties and instructions, within 15 days of receipt. Please be sure your return is postmarked within 15 days of delivery.
  • BEFORE MAKING YOUR RETURN, PLEASE BE SURE TO EMAIL US FOR A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. FAILURE TO OBTAIN A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER WILL RESULT IN OUR INABILITY TO ACCEPT YOUR RETURN! PLEASE EMAIL US AT info@thegildedpaw.com .
  • All items must be returned in original packaging and sent back to us using an insured method such as UPS or FedEx with a tracking number. The customer is responsible for both original and return shipping charges on all returns or exchanges. We will pay the shipping for sending your new size or item. We will determine whether or not the item returned is unused, and in its original condition. A full refund or exchange will be provided once the original item has been received, as noted above.
  • Pet Apparel must be returned in "like new condition".  That is, there can be no stains, dirt, or dog hair on the item.  Please be considerate of others when returning an item of apparel.  This is to ensure the safety of both your pet as well as the pets of others.

    PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO STRICT HEALTH REGULATIONS (ASSURING SAFETY FOR YOUR PET), CERTAIN ITEMS ARE NON-RETURNABLE, AS FOLLOWS:     
  • Pet Carriers - please be sure of the size you need, or                      give us a call for assistance.
  • Pet Beds - please be sure you don't order a bed that                  is too small for your pet. If in doubt, please
                     give us a call.
  • All Food Items
  • PLEASE BE SURE TO MEASURE YOUR PET CAREFULLY FOR ALL APPAREL ITEMS AS EXPLAINED IN OUR DETAILED SIZING INFORMATION. REMEMBER, ALL RETURN REGULATIONS ARE MADE "WITH THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF YOUR PET IN MIND." PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE FOR THE SAKE OF ALL PETS WHEN MAKING YOUR RETURN.
  • If you encounter problems determining size, remember.........we are always available to help you!!
PLEASE NOTE: Any item that is defective, with the exception of food items, is returnable for an exchange or refund. We carefully inspect all items before shipping so you will receive the best quality merchandise available.

Since pet carriers and beds are non-returnable, please be sure to read the measurements given. Please make sure your pet will be comfortable in the one ordered.

CUSTOM ORDERS: Custom or "made to order" items cannot be returned or exchanged. Items that are "personalized" are also non-returnable.

DROP SHIP ITEMS: Items that are shipped directly from the manufacturer, as noted on our site, are subject to the return policy of each individual manufacturer. If you wish to know the return policy for the drop ship item you have selected (e.g. beds), please call us before making your purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: Please remember that most returns are the result of "improper fit," whether a collar, carrier, item of apparel, or even a pet bed. Many pet owners do not bother to measure before ordering. Taking a few minutes to measure your baby is the only way you will know if the item will have the proper fit. Be sure to read our "sizing charts" before ordering. If in doubt, please just give us a call.
